Now that the rush of Good Friday and Easter has subsided, you might expect a pastor like me, to feel a little let down, but nothing could be further from the truth. Excited, doesn’t seem to really capture what I feel in my heart about our new series at Valley Christian Church called, “Four Cups“.
I’m MORE than excited, because I am confident when we finish this 5-part series, no one who hears it, will be the same as they are today. We will be BETTER! God has four core promises that He wants to fulfill in each and every person’s life. These are far from new, they’ve been His original plan all along. But the reality is very few people allow God to do what He so desperately wants to in their lives. Here’s a quick snapshot of God’s desired promises He wants you and me to experience:
- God wants to rescue you from bondage.
- God want to deliver you from whatever holds you back.
- God wants you to discover His original intention for your life.
- God wants you to be a part of a family that is making a difference.
As you can see, these four promises, rooted in ancient Scripture, are still very much needed and applicable for us today. Most importantly, they are still available for us too! Join me, and bring a friend. I know you’ll be “Fired Up For Four Cups” too, as we kick-off this brand new series!
